Break Away provides programs with the resources and connections to design transformative alternative breaks that mutually benefit students and communities. We equip alternative breakers with the tools to be engaged and community-minded individuals.

Full day in-person trainings centered on preparing site leaders to plan and lead alternative breaks, respectfully and mutually engage communities, and facilitate meaningful post-break engagement.

Full day in-person retreats for student leadership boards and program staff. These gatherings can include tailored workshops, program consultation and evaluation, and strategic planning.

To support post-break reorientation and lifelong civic engagement, Break Away offers workshops that train and equip students in mutual aid, community organizing, and advocacy.
Programming fees range from $250 for remote workshops to $1500 (+ travel) for full day, in-person retreat facilitation. Chapter school membership includes a 25% discount on all programming.
